The Sacred Journey to TIBET was both inspiring and eye-opening. I’m thrilled that I got to experience the intense spiritual culture that is still alive and well there, as the country may be experiencing its final days as a spiritual mecca…..

"The Sacred Journey to IRELAND was the best one I've been on yet!newgrange3-aerial.jpg (28214 bytes) Our guide was amazing, with abilities and a spirit I've not experienced with any other guide. Because our group was small, we were able to meet and mingle more with the Irish people. I came home entranced by the beauty of the people and the country."
    J. Gamble – Plymouth, MN

SedonaBellRockRock-ILefberg.jpg (21561 bytes)"On our Sacred Journey to SEDONA our Speakers were excellent; both were informative, experienced and aware of the individual and group needs, and provided an experience of the area that was more than I could have hoped for. At the same time they promoted a climate that was safe, fun-filled and spiritually delightful."

"I had a totally awesome time from start to finish on the Sacredabusir6_p-lehman.jpg (78660 bytes) Journey to EGYPT.      Your Shamanic Guide & Priestess

Koko Newport is a Priestess of Avalon, who lives in Glastonbury. Your group will be staying at a charming and warm Bed and Breakfast, a few minutes walk from the heart of town. She is also a mother, grandmother, teacher, healer, shaman and manifester of dreams, has studied with many spiritual teachers. She says: "When I first came to Glastonbury, many years ago, I had little idea of how transformative it would be for me. I came simply because my heart was often drawn to its mysteries and the unknown secrets of its energy and dynamic healing flows. I was drawn to live here and give to the world by providing a safe and homely place for travelers to experience it by. Once at home here, I then integrated into the energies and studied the teachings of the Goddess with inner reflections and outer journeys on the land.  So came many insights and the unfolding of the older ancient secrets and the sense of oneness with the land and the ancestors.”

Day 3, Monday, August 10: In Glastonbury/Entrance to Stonehenge (B/D)
After breakfast, join our Priestess of Avalon, Koko for a full day of sacred journeying, starting with a visit to Goddess Temple, to open the circle. After lunch on your own, you continue to the ancient sites in Stoney Littleton Barrow and Priddy Circles, before arriving in historic Bath for Tea. End your day of touring in Stonehenge on the Salisbury Plain, the world's best-known stone monument from the Megalithic Age. Although we will never know exactly who the architects were who planned Stonehenge, the face sculptured into the side of trilithon stone 54 does give us cause to wonder if he or she was so influential that his/her facial features weren’t placed here to be preserved forever. Another theory is that this could also be a representation of the Divine Marriage, the concept of Sacred Marriage between an Earth Mother and Sky Father, a universal theme in early or primitive agricultural and goddess-oriented societies. One of the great trilithon stones has numerous axes carved into it and another has a mother-goddess type image carved in relief. Enter the sacred and ancient circle for private meditation time among the ancient and magical stones. Later, return to the hotel, where you have the balance of the day on your own for independent exploration before dinner tonight at the hotel.

    Day 4, Tuesday, August 11: In Glastonbury/The Tor (B)
Tuesday is MARKET DAY in Glastonbury and what better way to explore the former island in the Somerset marshes, which is considered to be the fabled Isle of Avalon of the Grail Legends. For centuries, it has been the gathering place for priests and priestesses of the ancient Druidic and Celtic traditions, as well as one of the holiest places in Christendom. It has also been a megalithic center--a place of the Goddess. The small town of Glastonbury still preserves its long history and rich traditions, uniquely blended with more modern elements, and people are drawn here from all around the globe. Then on to a visit to the Tor, a majestic hill rising enigmatically above the flat, surrounding meadows overlooking Glastonbury. However, it's no ordinary hill; it's home to the King of the Fairies!  For centuries, legends and folklore have centered on the Tor, and all hinge on the same conclusion--that the Tor is a place where the veil between the worlds is thin. You walk to the Tor and climb its gentle slope as a walking meditation. Return to the hotel for lunch on your own. You have the entire afternoon for rest and integration, and to explore the local shops and healing centers. Dinner is on your own.

    Day 5, Wednesday, August 12:  In Glastonbury/The Chalice Well/The Abbey (B/D)

This morning, visit the famous Chalice Well at the foot of the Tor. During the Middle Ages, Glastonbury gained a reputation as a place of healing, and pilgrims came to the Well to take advantage of its curative powers. The waters of both the Red Spring (or Blood Spring) at Chalice Well and the adjoining White Spring still maintain a reputation for their cleansing, healing and transformative qualities, which you may want to test for yourself. Return to the hotel for lunch on your own and to rest. In the afternoon, explore Glastonbury Abbey, where the graves of Arthur and Guinevere are said to have been found. Visit St. Mary's Chapel before returning back to town with the remainder of the day to explore Glastonbury at your leisure, have an optional Reading or massage before your farewell dinner.

Day 6, Thursday, August 13: To London (B)
You have a leisurely breakfast before a late-morning checkout. By train to London, arriving in the early afternoon for an introductory tour of London including highlights like Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square and the Houses of Parliament. For dinner on your own, you could choose to enjoy traditional London pub food, to try excellent Indian cuisine, or sample any other cuisine that strikes your fancy this evening.

    Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 7, Friday, August 14: In London (B)

Today you will enjoy a private morning sightseeing tour of some of the secret treasures of London. Located between Fleet Street and the river Thames, Temple church dates back to the 12th century, it was built by the Knights Templar and used as their headquarters in England. This unique round church was based on the church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, and the nave is surrounded by the first ever free-standing dark Purbeck Marble columns. Afterwards you will continue on to visit Sir John Soane’s Museum. This little museum is one of the most atmospheric sites pic: soane_museum_1.jpg of London. The bewitching home of architect Sir John Soane (1753-1837), is packed with surprising effects and curiosities representing his eccentric taste. Glass domes, lantern rooms, rooms within rooms, pictures and an Egyptian hieroglyphic sarcophagus all form parts of his extraordinary collection. The rest of the day free for shopping and seeing this city on your own.

Day 8, Saturday, August 15: In London (B/D)
Today is a free day for independent explorations on your own. You might want to visit The Temple of Diana in Central London. The present St. Paul's Cathedral was built on a lunar site traditionally recognized as being ruled by the Moon Goddess and Goddess of Hunting, Diana. The site is also connected with the King Lud, who gave his name to the present day Ludgate Circus and Ludgate Hill, on which St. Paul's Cathedral stands. In the early evening, depart for your  special farewell dinner this evening, a special Elizabethan Medieval banquet, located within a 2-minute walk of Tower Bridge for a panoramic view of London. A 5 -course banquet, complete with a troupe of entertainers, will engage you with songs and spectacle in authentic period style.
